FEMINALITY ~ its glandular, not hormonal

Menopause:
The Alchemy of Becoming

Reclaiming the rhythm, wisdom, and wild intelligence of the feminine body.

(A Soapbox Moment from Someone Who’s Been There)

Alright ladies, it’s time I get on my soapbox. I’ve been quiet about this for far too long. I don’t chime in unless I can offer a solution—but today I’m chiming in.

Menopause....& peri
Yes, there are a million opinions and a million so-called “solutions,” but here I am with mine—rooted in lived experience and cellular wisdom.

When I went through it at 55, it felt like my body changed overnight. Weight began piling on daily. I was eating right, riding my e-bike twenty miles a day, five days a week. That’s ninety minutes of solid low-grade aerobic movement. Still, my once-tiny waist (which had always been my thing) began to thicken. For context, before this shift, I was the bubble-butt, B-cup, balanced type. Maybe that’s TMI, but I’m painting a real picture here.  So yes, it was shocking to see my body change in ways I thought would never happen to me ..so silly

I’ve always been deeply tuned in to my body. I could tell the exact day I ovulated. My cycles were synced with the full moon. I was healthy, aware, and aligned with nature—and yet I “blew up” seemingly overnight.

So naturally, being who I am, I dove headfirst into research. What was really happening?

And the truth is—it’s simple. The body is shifting from one stage of life to another. Just like puberty.

When puberty begins, hormones surge. Breasts form, hips expand, hair grows, mood swings erupt, appetite changes, acne flares. And we allow it, because we know it’s natural. The body is preparing for fertility, and after a few years, it finds balance again.

Menopause is the same kind of initiation.
It’s the body completing a cycle, stepping out of the childbearing years and into the wisdom years.
The gonads slow down, the adrenals rev up, and those adrenals go wild. I can't express this aspect enough, the result  Cortisol spikes, moods swing, temperatures fluctuate, and the body reshapes itself once again.
This is a glandular process !
So one of the most important aspects of all, is to calm the adrenals, so you can go through to the other side with a bit more grace and harmony

On a spiritual level, this is kundalini energy rising, transforming, shedding, awakening. It’s the serpent uncoiling at the base of your spine, burning away the illusions of youth and re-forging you into the wise woman you were always meant to become.

This process isn’t a weekend detox, it’s a years-long alchemical journey. In my experience, true balance begins to land around the second Saturn return, ages 61 to 63. That’s when the storm settles, and the Crone truly emerges.

The greatest harm I see women doing is resisting this transformation, clinging to who they used to be or what they thought their life and body would look like.

Do I love the extra weight? No.
But do I love the woman I am today? Absolutely.

I love the silver strands weaving through my hair.
I love the grounded wisdom in my words.
I love the kundalini current that connects me between heaven and earth—fueling my creativity, courage, and alchemy.

Every stage of womanhood is an alchemical initiation.

🔮 The Inner Fire: Supporting the Glandular System

The glandular system is your inner orchestra, the physical expression of your energetic body. Each gland corresponds to a chakra, each chakra to an organ system, and all together they form the map of your multidimensional self.

When I hear people say, “You need more progesterone!” or “You should boost testosterone!”—I cringe. Because adding synthetic or even “natural” hormones to a system that’s in the midst of deep transformation is like throwing gasoline on sacred fire.

What truly needs support is the glandular system itself. That’s the root.

When your adrenals are fried (and let’s be honest—99% of women are walking around with some level of adrenal fatigue before menopause even begins), the transition becomes even more intense. That’s when we see the hot flashes, mood swings, exhaustion, and that feeling of being totally “off.”

So the solution isn’t to fight nature—it’s to realign with her.
To nourish your glands.
To tend your nervous system.
To breathe with the earth again.

Menopause isn’t the end of youth—it’s the birth of embodied wisdom.

🌿 My Own Healing Path

When I was deep in the process, hot flashes, sleepless nights, mood swings, I began to work directly with my herbs and distillates. I tuned in to my adrenals, pituitary, and thyroid. I sat in my garden listening to the plants that wanted to assist this rewiring.

What I found was that my body didn’t want hormones, it wanted communication.
It wanted to be remembered.

Through that remembering came my devotion to glandular support, using herbs that help the adrenals, thyroid, pituitary, and reproductive glands communicate again as one intelligent system. When one gland is off so are the others !

Over time, my body recalibrated. My energy stabilized. The hot flashes eased. My mind cleared. I felt like myself again—but wiser, slower, softer.

✦ The Formula That Grew From This Journey ✦

Out of this experience, I crafted what became my FEMINALITY Glandular Support formula—a truly adaptogenic remedy designed to meet the body wherever it is in its cycle of change.

Because this formula isn’t just for menopause.
It’s for life itself.

Adaptogens work by tuning the body’s intelligence—helping it find homeostasis whether it’s in the surge of puberty, the depletion of postnatal years, the intensity of perimenopause, or the sacred rewiring of the Crone.

They don’t force the body one way or another—they remind it how to listen to itself again.

I recommend to women of all ages. From maiden to mother to sage, the glandular system is always shifting, always dancing with the seasons of life. And this formula is there~steady, grounding, restorative~helping the body return to its natural rhythm.

Because no matter what phase we’re in, we are always in a process of becoming.
And every phase~every shedding, every awakening, every rebirth~is holy.

🕊️ A Closing Word

Now that I have an offering~a true solution born from lived experience~I’ll be writing more on this subject. Because we, as women, have been so wildly uninformed about the power of our bodies and their ever-evolving rhythms.

It’s time to reclaim that knowledge, to rewrite the narrative, and to remember that every change, every fluctuation, every wave is a message from the divine intelligence within us.

The more we understand our bodies, the more we return to the truth that we are nature~and nature never betrays her own.

FEMINALITY  from the garden we grow

take me too Feminality

So much of the modern conversation around women’s health — both pharmaceutical and even many herbal approaches — is narrowly focused on replacing hormones. Yet hormones are only the messengers. The true root of balance lies in the glands — the pituitary, thyroid, adrenals, and ovaries — which orchestrate the rhythms of vitality, mood, and energy. When the glands are nourished and supported, the body can naturally regulate, adapt, and flow through every cycle of life.

Feminality was born as a sacred ally for perimenopause and menopause, but its intelligence speaks to all ages and stages of womanhood. This elixir doesn’t attempt to override or replace what the body creates. Instead, it strengthens the glandular system at its core, helping you move with grace through transitions — from first flow to wisdom years.

Each plant in this formula was chosen with purpose:

  • Eve’s Primrose — rich in gamma-linolenic acid, supports hormonal rhythm, eases hot flashes and cycle shifts, and promotes supple skin and vitality.

  • Chasteberry (Vitex) — speaks directly to the pituitary gland, gently restoring balance to the endocrine system and smoothing the ride of PMS, peri, and menopause.

  • Passionflower — calms the nervous system, quiets the mind, and supports deep rest when glandular shifts bring stress or sleeplessness.

  • Holy Basil (Tulsi) — revered as an adaptogen, eases the load on the adrenals, balances stress hormones, and restores a sense of grounded calm.

  • Ashwagandha — strengthens thyroid and adrenal health, builds resilience, and replenishes energy reserves depleted by change.

  • Rose — the heart’s own medicine, opening emotional flow, softening tension, and reminding the body of beauty and radiance.

  • Kombucha — a living ferment, offering enzymes and vitality that aid digestion and cellular renewal.

  • Ormus — a mineral essence of alchemy, enhancing cellular and subtle-body communication, uplifting the tincture with a higher vibration of life-force.

Together, these allies form a botanical elixir that works at the root cause: nourishing the glands themselves, so the body can create harmony from within.

Feminality is not a replacement. It is a remembrance — of the feminine body’s innate ability to balance, adapt, and thrive through all sacred cycles of life.
