Narayan is the founder and formulator of Narayan Beauty, author of Ariella Gold Heart and creator of the Gold Heart Meditation. She is an alchemist, healer, astrologer, botanical formulator, gardener, mystic and woman of wisdom whose work has emerged from more than four decades of lived experience.

She is also the creator of her own healing modalities. Her work centers on recognizing and dismantling the programs held within the mind and body, then guiding people back into the sacredness, intelligence and sovereignty of their own hearts. She does not position herself between another person and their knowing. She helps them remove what has kept them from reaching it.

Narayan also created the Faceology Treatment, a whole-body healing experience accessed through the face. It brings together her decades of work with beauty, touch, energy, the nervous system, botanical medicine and the physical pathways through which the body holds its history. In her hands, the face is not treated as a surface to be corrected. It becomes a doorway into the entire body.

And she scrubbed feet for thirty-three years.

For sixteen of those years, she worked as a Hollywood celebrity manicurist, holding the hands and feet of women while listening to the stories of their bodies, relationships, ambitions, insecurities and lives. There are things you learn with another woman’s feet in your hands that cannot be taught in a classroom. That work eventually led her out of Hollywood and into the creation of a botanical beauty company, a working micro-farm and a living apothecary grown from her own soil.

Her knowledge of beauty, herbalism, astrology, Kundalini and the Sacred Space of the Heart was awakened through the body, tested through experience and deepened through a life spent listening to the intelligence of plants, the Earth, the cosmos and the heart.

Narayan does not separate the mystical from the physical. For her, embodiment is not a spiritual concept. It is the way she lives. She talks only about what she has walked, and she walks what she talks. Her work is rooted in the understanding that the body is not something to transcend, control or leave behind. It is a living cosmology, a cauldron of memory, intelligence and transformation.

At sixty-four, she speaks from the perspective of a woman who has lived through profound spiritual awakening, heartbreak, reinvention, business, beauty, loss, creativity, menopause and the long unraveling of everything she was taught a woman was supposed to be. She is not interested in handing women another identity, title or belief system. She is interested in what becomes possible when a woman stops looking outside herself and returns to the authority of her own body, her own knowing and her own heart.
